The Theatre School's Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting offers an intensely authentic, dynamic, and physically engaging training experience. Grounded in our Chicago heritage, we equip actors for successful careers across global theater and film industries.

Students train under accomplished faculty members who bring diverse professional backgrounds and specialized knowledge. Our instructors have crafted an impactful curriculum drawing from multiple disciplines including Stanislavski, Spolin, Grotowski, Shurtleff, Lessac, Linklater, Yoga, Tai Chi, Feldenkrais, Laban, mask techniques, and beyond. Through innovative perspectives, students engage with a thorough sequence of acting, movement, and vocal training programs.
