The Curriculum Studies (MA/MEd) program equips you to create, assess, and adapt educational curricula that cater to diverse learners. You'll gain expertise in designing effective learning environments across various educational contexts, with particular focus on supporting students underserved by current systems. Licensed teachers can additionally pursue either a Teacher Leader or Computer Science endorsement to expand their Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).

The MEd program offers three specialization tracks to advance educators' professional expertise:

Curriculum Specialist
Curriculum Studies with Teacher Leader Endorsement
Curriculum Studies with Computer Science Endorsement
The MA degree option strengthens research capabilities and academic writing skills, laying the foundation for doctoral studies. Courses are available both online and on-campus at Lincoln Park, with degree completion possible within 30 months.
