At DePaul's Grace School of Applied Diplomacy, our Master of Applied Diplomacy program blends conventional and innovative diplomatic methods. We recognize that diplomacy extends beyond government officials to include NGO workers, corporate professionals, researchers, and local activists. This graduate program equips students for the evolving diplomatic landscape through foundational courses in diplomatic theory, global affairs, international economics, and sustainable development - creating a strong base that supports our six specialized focus areas.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for admission, students must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
All students educated outside of the United States must submit proof of their English proficiency in order to be reviewed for admission regardless of language of instruction or native language. Students holding a bachelor's, master's, or PhD from a regionally accredited United States institution will have the TOEFL requirement waived upon receipt of their U.S. transcripts. DePaul University requires that all students earn at least 80 (ibt) with no section lower than 17 on the TOEFL exam to be considered proficient.
