To obtain a Business Law Certificate, students must fulfill all 86 credit hours needed for the Juris Doctor degree and meet all JD prerequisites. Within these degree requirements, students must complete 15 credit hours from designated business law courses, which includes one mandatory class. Candidates must maintain at least a 3.20 GPA in Certificate coursework. Should a student complete additional courses beyond the 15-hour requirement, all grades from those classes will be included in calculating the minimum 3.20 GPA for the Certificate.
