DePaul's combined Bachelor's and Master's degree programs enable undergraduates to earn 12 graduate credits that apply to both degrees. These graduate credits fulfill requirements for both the undergraduate and graduate programs. The Combined Bachelor's and MA in Writing and Rhetoric (WRD) program is open to all DePaul undergraduates, regardless of their major. Accepted students can take up to three MA WRD courses during their senior year, counting them as open electives in their bachelor's program. The student's undergraduate college must approve these courses as electives. Writing and Rhetoric majors pursuing the BA/MA option may apply these graduate courses toward major or open electives. The same courses can simultaneously count toward both degree requirements. Eligible applicants must be current DePaul juniors (with at least 88.0 credits) maintaining a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.
