The combined Bachelor's and Master's degree programs enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies, which apply to both degree levels. The Health Communication (MA) dual degree option is available to undergraduates from any major university-wide. Prospective students should submit their application to the Graduate Admission Office during their junior year. Upon acceptance, they may enroll in up to three graduate-level courses (12 credits) during their senior year, with these credits counting toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees. These courses are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. After obtaining their Bachelor of Arts or Science from DePaul, students transition to graduate status to finish the remaining MA requirements. It's essential for students to consult their undergraduate advisor regarding how graduate courses satisfy their bachelor's degree requirements. Participants must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average) in all graduate courses taken during their senior year to remain eligible for the program.
