The Communication and Media (MA) dual degree program welcomes undergraduate students from all disciplines. Applicants should submit their materials to the Graduate Admission Office during their third year. If approved, they can enroll in up to three graduate-level courses (12 credits) during their final undergraduate year. These credits apply toward both their bachelor's and master's degrees. The tuition rate for these courses matches the standard undergraduate fee. After completing their BA or BS at DePaul, students transition to graduate status to finish their MA requirements. It's recommended that students consult their undergraduate advisor to determine how graduate coursework satisfies their bachelor's degree requirements. Participants must achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average) in all graduate courses taken during their senior year to remain eligible for the program.
