The Division of Fine Arts and Communication Studies (FACS) strives to advance USC Upstate's mission by fostering the intellectual, ethical, cultural, and professional growth of students in fine arts and communication disciplines. Our dedicated faculty works to equip students with the skills needed for successful careers in diverse fields including visual arts, digital media, journalism, music, corporate communication, public speaking, and performing arts. FACS provides Bachelor of Arts programs in communication with specializations in public relations, media studies, and interpersonal communication, alongside degrees in Art Studio (focusing on graphic design), Art Education, Theatre, and Popular Music Studies.
