The Psychology Department aims to equip students with knowledge of both scientific and practical psychology approaches and content. Classroom teaching serves as our principal method for achieving this objective. Our curriculum spans diverse psychology fields, with certain classes incorporating lab sessions dedicated to experimental and statistical studies. An increasing number of these courses are now available in fully online or hybrid formats (combining online and in-person elements). Additional educational experiences are provided through fieldwork, the Honors Program, hands-on learning initiatives, independent research projects, and internship opportunities. Our Internship Program offers supervised work experiences that count toward academic credit, with placement options ranging from human service agencies to corporate and community environments.
