The combined Bachelor's and Master's degree programs enable students to earn 12 graduate credits during their undergraduate studies. These credits apply toward both degree requirements. DePaul University developed and authorized this initiative in the late 1980s to provide eligible undergraduates with a pathway to obtain both BA and MS degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Admission is restricted to current DePaul undergraduate students. This program results in a final MS degree and isn't intended as preparation for doctoral studies. Prospective PhD candidates should consult their advisors about appropriate preparatory steps. Participants must complete 39 four-credit courses (totaling 156 credits) by their junior year - three courses more than the standard 36 earned through four classes per quarter.
