DePaul's clarinet program is renowned for its exceptional instruction, collaborative environment, and accomplished graduates. We provide students with professional insights while fostering a supportive learning atmosphere. Our mission is to equip students with the necessary skills to excel as clarinetists and musicians, regardless of their chosen career direction. The studio features three faculty members working together with a dedicated group of passionate, skilled students. During their time at DePaul, clarinetists can participate in various ensembles including two orchestras, wind ensembles, contemporary groups, opera orchestra, and chamber music. Additional offerings include orchestral repertoire classes, studio teaching instruction, music business courses, and studio classes covering performance techniques, pedagogy, peer teaching, reed crafting, repertoire study, orchestral excerpts, audition strategies, and other essential topics.
