The combined Bachelor's and Master's degree options enable undergraduates to earn 12 graduate credits that apply to both degrees. Those pursuing a BA+MA in International Studies should reach out to the INT Department chair. History majors must submit their applications by April 15th of their junior year, maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA. During their senior year, History students enrolled in this program will complete INT 401 along with two additional INT 400-level courses, which fulfill both their undergraduate electives and graduate degree requirements. Ideally, History majors should initiate thesis research in HST 390 (History Senior Seminar) during their final undergraduate year. When this isn't feasible (such as when a student's thesis topic doesn't align with the seminar's focus), they'll need to take INT 301 as an elective to start their thesis work.
