The Bachelor of Arts in Persian Studies equips graduates for diverse career paths in sectors like government, teaching, creative fields, commerce, and media. This 36-credit program offers comprehensive training in Persian language, literature, and cultural studies, covering regions including Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asian Persian-speaking communities, and global Persian diaspora populations. Learners develop proficiency in all four language skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) while gaining insight into modern sociopolitical contexts and everyday realities of Persian-speaking societies.
High school students and students with fewer than 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours of university-level credit beyond secondary school should apply as freshman applicants.
