Though government diplomats continue to play a pivotal role, modern diplomacy now involves diverse participants beyond national borders—from corporate leaders and researchers to cultural creators, grassroots advocates, faith leaders, and academics. Today's diplomatic landscape spans professions. DePaul's Applied Diplomacy program responds to this evolution with a forward-thinking curriculum that prepares emerging diplomatic professionals. Our undergraduate and graduate programs combine cross-disciplinary knowledge with a cooperative ethos, equipping students to navigate diverse divides.
