The combined Bachelor's and Master of Arts program enables undergraduates to earn 12 graduate credits during their senior year. This opportunity is open to Sociology majors and students from any undergraduate discipline at DePaul University. These graduate credits serve as electives for their bachelor's degree while simultaneously forming the foundation of their Sociology MA. Participants receive their bachelor's degree upon fulfilling undergraduate requirements and their master's upon completing graduate coursework. Applications are due in junior year spring, with prospective students advised to consult the Program Director. During senior year, participants enroll in twelve graduate credits that fulfill requirements for both degrees. Admission to the BA/MA Sociology program requires a formal application, and accepted students must coordinate graduate course registration with the Graduate Program Director.
