The English program at De Anza College enables students to explore language, literature, creative writing, and composition while enhancing analytical abilities, expressive techniques, and artistic appreciation. Graduates will achieve the following competencies:

Examine texts across multiple formats such as poetry, plays, novels, and cinematic works
