The engineering sciences undergraduate major culminates in a Bachelor of Arts (AB), a liberal arts degree conferred by Dartmouth. This program mandates completing at least seven prerequisite courses in mathematics and science, nine engineering sciences courses, and all necessary liberal arts requirements. Beyond coursework, all engineering sciences majors and modified majors must undertake a culminating experience, which could involve a thesis, a design project, or an advanced engineering sciences course featuring a substantial design or research component, selected from an approved list. The advanced engineering course for this culminating experience may count as one of the required electives or as an extra course.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA. A strong GPA in high school is one indicator that you will continue to do well in college.
