The Philosophy program, rooted in Christian faith, is committed to exploring the nature of reality—both eternal and temporal—through rigorous analysis of concepts and the logical pursuit of truth. It examines ethical principles and artistic appreciation while interpreting existence through a Christian lens. This department aims to introduce students to core philosophical fields (metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics), develop their analytical and communication skills, explore philosophical dilemmas and their proposed answers, follow philosophy's historical progression, and study influential thinkers and their contributions. Philosophy majors gain preparation for advanced studies or careers in law, ministry, education, business, writing, or professional philosophy, with BA or BS degree options. Program Objectives- Graduates will master philosophical methodology, terminology, and subject matter, recognizing its significance in shaping Western thought. They will apply logical reasoning and critical analysis in all forms of expression.
