Our MS/PhD program is a full-time, on-campus initiative located in Ithaca, tailored to prepare the next generation of academic researchers and university professors. This intensive program spans approximately 4-5 years and is exclusively offered in-person, with no online or part-time alternatives available. The initial two years focus on advanced coursework and completing a master's thesis involving original research. Subsequently, students primarily concentrate on dissertation work, though they may continue taking courses as needed. Participants select a specialization from four key fields: human resource studies, international and comparative labor, labor relations (including law and history), or organizational behavior. Additionally, they can pursue a minor in any of these disciplines, as well as in statistics and data science or labor economics.
