Based in the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, the MA program benefits from UCF Downtown's vibrant urban campus, surrounded by cultural attractions, entertainment venues, and professional opportunities. While select courses are available online, mandatory core classes and most electives follow in-person or hybrid schedules, primarily held weekday evenings at the downtown location.
Full-time students typically complete the Communication MA in four semesters, while part-time students have up to seven years to finish. The program offers both thesis and non-thesis tracks, each requiring at least 33 credit hours for completion.
