Cornell's Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (M.S. AAD) is a rigorous post-professional program designed for those with a B.Arch or professional M.Arch degree. This intensive research-focused curriculum provides a platform to explore contemporary design challenges, methodologies, and technological advancements shaping architecture and urban environments today. Students can choose between three- or four-semester tracks, beginning with a summer term in New York City before transitioning to Cornell's Ithaca campus. Recognized as a STEM program under Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology (CIP code 04.0902), the M.S. AAD enables international graduates to qualify for a three-year F-1 visa extension for U.S. employment opportunities.
Open to individuals holding a B.Arch. or an M.Arch (first-professional) degree.

IELTS Academic - 7.0; TOEFL - The Graduate School’s official minimum sub-scores for each element of the TOEFL iBT are: Speaking: 22, Reading: 20, Listening: 15, Writing: 20.
