The Cornell University Biomedical and Biological Sciences (BBS) Graduate Program brings together exceptional students working on cutting-edge research across fundamental, clinical, and applied life sciences alongside distinguished faculty mentors. Based in Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine on the Ithaca campus, the program leverages top-tier research facilities, the dynamic undergraduate environment, and close connections with Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC. The BBS Program cultivates a supportive academic community focused on helping students excel in research, education, and career growth. Participants choose faculty advisors from five specialization areas: Immunology/Infectious Disease, Molecular/Cellular Medicine, Population Medicine/Epidemiology, Translational Medicine, and Zoology/Wildlife Conservation.
Reproductive biology research investigates diverse species (including mice, humans, livestock, and equines), studying male and female reproductive systems through endocrine, gonadal, genetic, and molecular approaches.
