As a religious studies student, you'll explore religion through an interdisciplinary lens, combining humanities and social science perspectives while examining traditions within critical historical and theoretical frameworks. Rather than advocating for or dismissing specific beliefs, you'll gain analytical skills to examine how religious claims influence social identities and historical developments. The program emphasizes: Deep understanding of one religious tradition's history, texts, and practices Comparative analysis skills across multiple traditions Critical engagement with key theories and methodologies in religious scholarship
Students completing their high school during the 2021-22 academic year or if they've graduated from high school but have earned fewer than 12 credits at a college or university are eligible for admission as first year students.
TOEFL - Score of 100 and above (Internet-based exam); 70 and above on the PTE Academic; IELTS - Score of 7.5.
