To obtain an Associate in Science Degree, students must complete at least 60 units of credit coursework, fulfilling both major and general education requirements while maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA. All major courses require a grade of C or higher. The Computer Science (COMP/COMSC) curriculum equips students for advanced studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering at bachelor's degree institutions. COMP/COMSC also helps working professionals enhance their computer science expertise.
The program supports career preparation in various technology fields such as: programming, software engineering, systems analysis, IT leadership, multiple engineering disciplines, technical support roles, quality assurance, network administration, robotics, digital design, and CAD/CAM specialization.
