Columbia's dual degree programs offer adaptable enrollment options that can vary each year or semester. However, students should note that SIPA financial assistance is exclusively applicable during semesters when attending SIPA and cannot be transferred to other Columbia schools under any conditions. During your time at Columbia, the school you're attending each semester will assess your eligibility for financial aid, which may include scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, student loans, or Work Study opportunities. Dual degree candidates have equal access to SIPA funding as non-dual degree students. When enrolled at another Columbia school, be mindful of SIPA's relevant deadlines and processes. Leveraging Columbia University's extensive resources, SIPA provides multiple dual degree programs in collaboration with other Columbia schools, enabling students to acquire expertise, competencies, and viewpoints beyond International and Public Affairs. These programs allow students to earn two degrees in a shorter timeframe compared to pursuing them individually.
In order to be eligible for admission, international applicants must hold, or be in the process of obtaining, the equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree.
