We specialize in advancing gender equality across various domains including development finance, human rights, international peace and security, urban and social policy, as well as environmental and energy policy. The Gender and Public Policy specialization (GPPS) equips students with the tools to analyze, design, and execute policies that foster gender equity. Given that gender considerations are fundamental to all policy areas and achieving equality requires engagement from professionals in every field, this specialization appeals to students from all academic concentrations. GPPS leverages expertise from a diverse faculty of academics and practitioners, connects students with SIPA's wide-ranging resources, and collaborates with university-wide research centers. Additionally, it organizes skill-building workshops and facilitates networking opportunities with leaders from both private and public sectors.
