Our Master of Arts curriculum offers scholars, educators, and working professionals comprehensive training in literature and research at a leading national hub for African-American Studies scholarship. The program emphasizes developing rigorous analytical and methodological abilities essential for examining the multifaceted historical realities of African diasporic communities in the Americas.
Applicant must have the equivalent of the U.S. baccalaureate degree with a superior examination record and can understand rapid idiomatic English and can speak, write and read English with a high degree of facility are eligible for admission.
The Graduate School accepts applications from students who have earned or will earn 3-year bachelor's degrees in Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and any country which is a participant in the Bologna Process.
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 600 on paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the internet-based test and IELTS score of 7.5
