This psychology program is structured to deliver comprehensive foundational knowledge while emphasizing in-depth research opportunities. Students can participate in advanced seminars covering three core psychology disciplines: cognitive studies, psychobiology and neuroscience, and personality and social psychology. With a deliberately small cohort size—fewer than ten full-time students admitted annually—the department fosters close collaboration. This selective approach enables graduate students to engage deeply with all departmental research, including faculty projects and peer work. The five-year continuous curriculum combines coursework and research, leading to a PhD. Note that this department does not offer standalone MA programs or specialized degrees in Clinical, Counseling, Organizational, Educational, or School Psychology.
