All PhD students in Mechanical Engineering must achieve expert-level proficiency in a specific discipline within the field, requiring them to select a specialization and enroll in the highest-level courses available. Each candidate is paired with an academic advisor who assists in designing their course curriculum, offers guidance on academic affairs, and tracks their progress. Additionally, students select a faculty member from their chosen specialization to act as their research mentor. This advisor provides support in identifying a research topic and oversees the entire dissertation process, including research execution, writing, and final defense.
Applicant must have bachelor's degree received from an institution of acceptable standing.
English Language Requirement
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 600 on paper-and-pencil test, 100 on the internet-based test and IELTS score of 7.5
