The College of Dental Medicine collaborates with Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health to provide a combined degree program in dental medicine and public health. Students in this program acquire comprehensive training in fundamental biological sciences and clinical dentistry while developing deep understanding of the changing U.S. healthcare landscape. Those pursuing the DDS/MPH degree can select from various public health specializations such as epidemiology, biostatistics, healthcare management, and sociomedical sciences. Participants in this dual-degree program gain exceptional preparation for leadership positions at the intersection of dentistry, medicine, and healthcare systems.
