This professional science master's program in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability is an intensive 18-month graduate degree designed to equip you with sought-after skills, scientific expertise, and professional connections to address climate change effectively.
Our mission focuses on comprehending global ecosystems and humanity's influence on ecological processes and long-term sustainability. Through research and education, we strengthen our capacity to sustain ecosystems, communities, and the biosphere.
Students will apply cutting-edge scientific knowledge to practical policy and decision-making, aiming to responsibly steward Earth's vital resources—air, water, land, and biodiversity—for future generations. The Department provides extensive undergraduate and graduate studies in watershed science, along with an undergraduate curriculum in ecosystem science and sustainability.

A GPA of 3.0 or above from the highest, most recent degree earned is required for admission into Graduate School.
