Our program provides a single master's degree featuring two specialization tracks: Apparel and Merchandising, and Interior Design (for the post-professional degree, applicants must hold a bachelor's in interior design or a comparable design field). Our department usually hosts between 20-40 graduate students. The curriculum emphasizes research innovation and artistic scholarship across various disciplines including fashion design and manufacturing, consumer studies, historical textiles, retail management, product innovation, sociocultural aspects of clothing and presentation, and textile technology to enhance human and ecological welfare. The interior architecture concentration centers on design investigation, human-space interactions, and research-driven design practices that promote occupant health and sustainable environments.
