The Earth's liquids, gases, and mineral deposits hold vast amounts of valuable data, offering numerous applications for both industrial and scientific research. As job opportunities in this field are projected to increase more rapidly than other sectors in the coming years, there will be a rising need for skilled, committed experts.
Our Graduate Programs in Geochemistry equip students for career advancement through an interdisciplinary approach featuring two specialized tracks. The geochemistry concentration covers topics like the Earth's crust and mantle chemical development, energy resource geochemistry, chemical mineralogy, and related subjects. Meanwhile, the environmental biogeochemistry track examines the interconnected chemical and biological systems of our planet's biosphere and their alterations due to human influence.
Regardless of which specialization students choose, Mines alumni will be exceptionally prepared to become industry leaders and establish thriving professional paths.
