The department also provides a Master of Science in Engineering and Technology Management (ETM). This program blends technical engineering aspects with contemporary management approaches in engineering and technology. It emphasizes business and management concepts essential for this synergy. The ETM curriculum equips students with analytical skills and leadership insights necessary to thrive in today's competitive, technology-driven marketplace.
ETM students can tailor their studies through two specialization tracks: Engineering Management and Optimization or Technology Management and Innovation. The Optimization track covers sophisticated operations research, optimization methods, and decision-making strategies for diverse business and engineering challenges. Engineering management courses focus on best practices for overseeing complex technical projects. Strategy and innovation classes explore aligning corporate strategies with organizational frameworks to leverage technological advantages, particularly addressing modern enterprise management challenges. Participants may opt for either a thesis or non-thesis path, completing at least 30 credit hours.
