The Geochemistry Graduate Program is a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to train students passionate about the interface between geology and chemistry. This program offers two specialized subprograms, providing two Master of Science and PhD pathways, two professional master's (non-thesis) degree options, and a graduate certification. The Geochemistry (GC) concentration focuses on Earth's historical development and geological transformations, encompassing areas like crust and mantle chemical evolution, energy and mineral resource geochemistry, water-based geochemistry, fluid-rock/mineral interactions, and chemical mineral studies. The Environmental Biogeochemistry (EBGC) track examines the interconnected chemical and biological systems of our planet's biosphere, along with how human actions alter these natural processes.
