This program also prompts you to examine the wider consequences of engineering innovations and the societal and human implications of electrical devices.

Featuring numerous field engineering laboratories, distinguished faculty, and a recently upgraded Electronics Discovery Center (EDC), Mines stands as the premier option for students dedicated to electrical engineering.

Essential EE coursework includes subjects like electrical circuits, feedback control systems, electric machinery basics, microcomputer architecture and interfacing, digital logic, information systems, and engineering electromagnetics. By selecting electives in subfields such as energy systems and power electronics, integrated circuits, computer engineering and electronic systems, information and systems sciences, and antennas and wireless communication, students can specialize in a particular focus area.
