The Construction Engineering Bachelor of Science program at Colorado School of Mines broadens students' understanding to equip graduates for careers in design, supervision, management, inspection, and planning within the construction industry. Building upon a solid grounding in fundamental sciences, mathematics, engineering sciences, design principles, and civil engineering subjects, students acquire both theoretical and hands-on skills. This foundation enables students to implement engineering expertise, sustainable approaches, and management strategies in the built environment.
After completing the program, graduates will be ready to transform design ideas into physical structures across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential construction, accessing numerous employment opportunities.

Qualification Requirements
International students must meet the same admission requirements and will be included in the same selection process as U.S. citizens and permanent residents as described on the First-Year Students page in the Recommended Curriculum and Application Requirements sections. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee admission to Mines. Applicants who are admitted typically will exceed Mines admission requirements. If you have attended both non-U.S. and U.S. schools, both your non-U.S. and U.S. courses and grades will be considered

All students who have attended high school outside of the U.S. are also required to submit a credential evaluation to complete their application. A credential evaluation is a comparison of your academic record to standards in the U.S., a verification of validity and a translation of your grades to the U.S.-style system.
