The Executive Ed.D. format accommodates modern educators' busy schedules, enabling students to work full-time while completing their doctorate in approximately three years. The K-12, Gifted, and Higher Education Administration concentrations use a hybrid approach, combining two years of summer sessions, weekend classes, and online learning with applied dissertation work. During the first two years, students attend intensive two-week summer sessions at W&M's Williamsburg campus. The International School Leadership concentration is entirely online, offering global accessibility. A unique practitioner dissertation model weaves dissertation preparation into coursework, facilitating degree completion within three years.
