Gender influences human awareness and defines how societies structure themselves socially, economically, politically, and culturally across time. Those pursuing women's studies will explore both historical and modern gender-related topics. Our program fosters an environment where students can hone critical analysis, writing proficiency, material evaluation, conceptual reasoning, and public speaking abilities—competencies valuable for personal growth, career advancement, and community engagement.

Student Learning Objectives
Recognize and articulate women's historical achievements across all domains while examining their exclusion from conventional academic narratives and power structures.
Analyze current gender and sexuality topics within cultural contexts, worldwide and local advocacy efforts, and systemic versus cultural examinations.
Synthesize understanding of feminist frameworks, interdisciplinary viewpoints, research approaches, and ethical considerations.
Develop conceptual reasoning, critically assess scenarios and texts, and structure insights to demonstrate effective communication techniques.
