Student Learning Outcomes
Show proficiency in music notation, including reading and writing in multiple clefs, identifying and creating musical elements such as chords, scales, intervals, rhythms, and harmonization across traditional and modern styles.
Develop knowledge of music history, with the ability to distinguish Western musical forms and styles from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
Gain hands-on experience in applied music through piano proficiency tests, private lessons for voice or instruments, and mandatory ensemble participation.
