The graduate economics program aims to cultivate skilled economists equipped to serve private companies, nonprofit organizations, and government entities, with rigorous training in economic analysis and measurement techniques. The curriculum emphasizes core economic principles, econometric approaches, and their practical implementation for challenges encountered by corporations, nonprofits, and governmental bodies. While the Master of Arts in Economics serves as a final degree, graduates gain excellent preparation for advanced economics studies. This program welcomes applicants with bachelor's degrees in economics, business, or other disciplines. A limited number of graduate assistantships offer stipends and tuition assistance to eligible candidates. For assistantship applications, please reach out to the Department of Finance and Economics. Applicants must submit two recommendation letters.
If you have successfully completed a degree equivalent to a bachelor's degree in the United States, you are considered to be a graduate student at CSU.
