Our undergraduate chemical engineering students benefit from substantial student-faculty engagement, newly upgraded teaching laboratories, vibrant student organizations, and an accredited Cooperative Education program. Both undergraduate and graduate students pursue research alongside faculty mentors in contemporary research facilities. The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering additionally oversees two separate master's degree programs (MS Chemical Engineering and MS Biomedical Engineering) and two specializations within the Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Program (Chemical Engineering and Applied Biomedical Engineering). The Applied Biomedical Engineering program is a collaborative initiative with the Lerner Research Institute of the Cleveland Clinic.
