The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering provides an accelerated program allowing students to obtain both a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering within five years. After acceptance into this accelerated program, students can take up to 12 credit hours of graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies. These 12 credits apply to both undergraduate and graduate degree requirements, serving as electives or mandatory courses based on the specific class. Following completion of their bachelor's degree, students maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher in graduate courses will gain automatic admission to the Graduate Program. Additionally, up to 12 hours of graduate coursework (and corresponding grades) will be transferred to their graduate transcripts, provided they achieve a grade of B or better in each course.
