Students can specialize in one of three study areas: agricultural biotechnology, agronomy, or soil and water science. Our demanding program provides training in the holistic management of biological systems for crop production, standing out as one of the few nationwide that captures the scientific depth and advancement of contemporary agricultural methods. Learners gain thorough knowledge in plant biology, soil science, ecology, genetic applications, and biotechnological innovations.
Alumni make important contributions by introducing sustainable methods and cutting-edge technologies to farming and environmental management. Qualified undergraduates may start pursuing either a Master of Science in plant and environmental sciences or entomology while finishing their bachelor's degree.
Agricultural Biotechnology Specialization: This track explores scientific breakthroughs enabling agriculture to meet rising global food needs while addressing limited natural resources. Students master techniques like developing plant varieties resistant to drought and pests.
