The Bachelor of Science curriculum incorporates extra foundational and higher-level classes in mathematics and sciences, whereas the Bachelor of Arts program requires a four-term modern language sequence. Students choose from three specialization tracks: community studies, general sociology, or social services.
As a sociology student, you'll explore subjects including socioeconomic stratification and inequality, racial and cultural diversity, gender studies, legal systems, family dynamics, cultural anthropology, belief systems, academic institutions, and emerging nations. Organizations frequently recruit sociology graduates for client-facing roles in leadership, coordination, executive positions, corporate communications, human services, and data analysis. Our accelerated degree pathway enables eligible sociology undergraduates to start earning credits toward a Master's in Social Science while completing their bachelor's program.
