The Art B.A. is a comprehensive liberal arts degree that combines academic studies with studio art and art history coursework. Students can focus on Studio Art (including Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, or Sculpture), Art History, or Digital Art & Design Media. The program encourages students to complement their major with a minor or additional major, creating customized educational paths that leverage Clemson's research university resources.
Art History Specialization
The art history track provides a humanities-focused liberal arts education while maintaining exposure to studio art and general studies. This concentration explores humanity's cultural production and interpretation through visual arts.
