Clemson University, Clemson United States
Clemson offers two undergraduate art degree options: the flexible B.A. in liberal arts and the specialized B.F.A. professional program. The B.A. provides an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from Clemson's diverse range of art and art history courses. Students in this program can focus their studies in studio art, digital art and design media, or art history.
This program enables students to personalize their education through minors or double majors, helping them align their studies with career goals while benefiting from Clemson's resources as a major research institution.
The Bachelor of Arts in Art combines academic coursework with studio practice and art history studies. Students can specialize in various Studio Art disciplines (including Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture), Art History, or Digital Art & Design Media. The program encourages students to complement their major with a minor or second major, creating customized educational paths that leverage Clemson's research university advantages.
