Qualification Requirements

Applicants must submit a sealed, official transcript from every undergraduate and graduate institution that has granted the applicant a degree. For undergraduate coursework, applicants are required to submit proof of a completed bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Unofficial copies of transcripts are accepted for review purposes, but official copies will be required upon admission. Applicants must submit a copy of their resume. Please submit a 2-3 page statement of purpose that details your academic and/or professional achievements, your specific areas of interest within your desired field of study, why you are a strong candidate for graduate studies at CGU, and your career goals. Three letters of recommendation, Applicants to degree programs in performance must audition as part of their application process. Auditions are not scheduled or considered until an application has been received by the Office of Admission and Records. If you are outside the Southern California area please refer to the section at the bottom of this page. A minimum TOEFL score of 95 iBT, or a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 with no sub-score lower than 6.5, is required for direct-entry admission.
