The College of Arts and Humanities offers flexible Liberal Studies programs including a BA with large (64-66 credits) and small (45-47 credits) plans, plus a minor (30 credits), catering to diverse academic goals.
These interdisciplinary programs allow students to explore multiple arts and humanities fields through customized coursework that transcends traditional departmental boundaries. With advisor approval, participants can create tailored study plans drawing from across the university, meeting both educational and professional objectives while fulfilling upper-division requirements through approved Arts and Humanities courses.
Liberal Studies majors must incorporate coursework from at least three different Arts and Humanities disciplines. Given the program's humanistic emphasis, any courses from outside the College require approval from the Liberal Studies program director.
