The studio arts major, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, offers instruction from award-winning faculty. These educators have showcased their work globally and mentor students in developing creative, critical, and expressive skills. Specializations span ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Students can customize their Studio Program, concentrating on a single discipline or blending multiple areas to complete their BFA. State-of-the-art facilities support work in all visual arts mediums. Through the Steven L. Barstow Artist-in-Residence initiative, distinguished visiting artists teach, exhibit, and lead campus workshops. Professional growth opportunities abound through student groups like the Ceramics Society, Printmaking Club, and Photography Club.
